“Damn it all!” Jack howled, grabbing his hair and bowing his head.
“I’m sorry, Jack,” Peter said. “But this is the way things have to be. We just don’t have the weapons or the men needed to make such a rescue. And for what? Two people? How many more would die if we tried to free them?”
Too many.
We’d left the school and raced back here as fast as we could, immediately informing Peter of what had happened. He had soon after summoned a meeting of the “Circle,” or the most high-ups of the Guardians. There was Peter; Jack; David; Grace and myself, who were not part of the Circle; t

My feet dragged across the blacktop, aching so bad that I swore they were about to fall off. That’s what happens when you walk day after day after day… “Hey, Elijah?” I asked, my voice weary and sounding just as pained as my feet.
“Yeah, Abbs?”
“Where exactly are we going? Or are we just going to keep walking forever?” I knew that there was no way he had the answer, but I still had the need to ask. I was feeling bitter and tired, and I just really wanted some answers.
“I don’t know, Abby,” he replied, sounding exasperated. He seemed to be just as tired and fed-up as I was. &ld

The rope swayed slowly in the frigid breeze, a soft creaking sound emanating from it rocking back and forth across the gnarled tree limb. The fibers were frayed and separated and its twisted structure was in the gradual process of unwinding, the once light brown substance now dilapidated, grubby, and yellow. At the base of the lengthy rope, a hasty noose was tied. On the noose, there hung a man.
His flesh was emaciated and rotting, patches on the face and hands black and cracked from the cold. His clothes were paper-thin and full of wears and tears, gray skin showing in the sepia light. On his head he had no hair and one of his legs had decay
O, look! methinks I see my cousin’s ghost
Standing in the night upon that yonder road
And staring blankly into the moonlit night
Her blood is settled, and her joints are stiff
And death lies upon her like an untimely frost
Upon the sweetest flower of all the field
Most times she is still, swaying gently with the breeze
Ebony hair dancing, just like when she breathed
Yet other times she is restless, she screams straight to the moon
Angry and tortured, like softest music to attending ears
And if we meet, we shall not scape a brawl
Sometimes I venture out, to see what she’s about
“What do you want my cousin, so dear?

It was early morning judging by the pale pink streaks off in the distance. Lit pathways through the dark blue abyss and twinkling stars. I'd barely slept that night. It had been one of those nights where, all though all you want to is sleep, you can't get comfortable and you toss and turn and you get frustrated and want to scream at someone but they're all asleep which makes you even more upset and it's so awful. Yeah. One of those nights. You know what I'm talking about. I slowly sat up and ran a hand through my hair. If only there was something for me to do. Something I could do, what with my dumb busted leg and all.
Well maybe if you'd be

Hanna woke Jake up early that morning.
"Rise and shine," she told him. "Today's the big day."
He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, Hanna had been telling him how there was something she'd been wanting to show him. Kind of like a side organization the Guardians had that they reserved for the best of the best. Hanna said she wanted him to join.
"What time is it?" he asked groggily.
"Does it matter?" She tossed him a shirt and jeans. "Get dressed. We're going into town."
After Jake was ready and clothed, she led him out of the Guardian headquarters and to the city. The streets were empty. A wad of paper rolled across the street. The only th

I'm a teenage girl in the U.S of A. I like reading, writing, playing video games, and singing. (My voice isn't too good though) I also have an identical twin Check out her page and see her awesome art! Or, check out her poetry account
PLEASE feel free to comment on my art and even give constructive criticism!! It means a lot to me to hear what people think about it!
Also, just as an FYI, I am a HUGE NERD when it comes to The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy (and Skyrim). So if you wanna be nerdy, I'm your girl. Just thought I'd put that out there...
The stuff I usually post is literature and photography.

Favourite Movies
Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, 300, Gladiator, Avatar
Favourite TV Shows
Reign, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, The Walking Dead, Merlin, Avatar: The Last Airbender
So a while ago I made a fursona that I named Swiss Skies. Well just as an FYI I changed her name to Saba. The name comes from my favorite book character that comes from Moira Young's Dust Lands series. I relate a lot to the character and her feelings and I always felt as if I understood her. Also, the name means "Eastern wind" which I find ironic since my fursona can fly.
So yeah I just felt like getting that out there. I'll try and maybe draw her and update it to dA. Or maybe I'll post some literature soon.

Okay does anyone know how to make a strikethrough outside of Microsoft? Sometimes here on dA I see people make a comment or journal with words struck through but I've never figured out how to do it? Is there like a Ctrl shortcut that I can use? I know all the other shortcuts but I don't even know if there is one for strikethroughs?
If you know or know someone who knows how to do this stuff please let me know?
I have no idea why this is bothering me but it does.
Thank you for your cooperation.
I swear, I've had absolutely no motivation for writing in like... ever. Like, I started the 18th chapter for The Second Wave a while ago... and I only have one itty-bitty paragraph.
I just can't even.
I need summer to be here so bad! Just one more week...
I can make it? Heh so yeah that's one reason why I haven't really posted much in a while? Besides my two most recent that is. And this journal.
Meh. I'm gonna try and write. Maybe I'll get a sudden bout of inspirational motivation.
Peace out people
